About Desiree

Desiree Richards was born in Iowa and raised with values in community and hard work. She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Supervisor, and published author who received her Bachelor’s degree in Counseling from Southwestern Assemblies of God University in 2012, and her Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Texas at Arlington in 2014.

Desiree is an advocate for the therapeutic relationship because it is the strongest predictor of success. As trust is developed, she desires to guide clients into physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual health, as is desired by the client. She is supportive of individuals in finding and fulfilling their purpose in life. Desiree has 8 years of experience as a social worker. She has previously completed certifications and training including personal training, certified trauma professional, and CBT for Weight Loss Management.
